With streets decked up with tricolour and temples laden with flowers from Ayodhya to Awadh and from Kashi to Mathura as well as huge cutouts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath greeting people in every nook and corner of Uttar Pradesh, citizens across the country are eagerly looking forward to witnessing the grand swearing-in ceremony of Yogi 2.0 cabinet, to be held at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium on Friday.  


People are excited beyond measure and eagerly awaiting to see their popular leader Yogi Adityanath to take oath as CM of the state for the second time in a row to fulfil their hopes for making UP ‘Uttam Pradesh’ while destroying several myths regarding a party’s victory, or the CM’s post in the state.


Every square and locality of the State Capital has been adorned for the mega event. At the outset of the mega event, special prayers will be offered in all the temples of Lucknow on Friday morning. Arrangements have also been made by the Vyapari Mandal to distribute sweets after the oath ceremony. Youths, elderly, women, businessmen and every individual of the state is overbrimming with enthusiasm for the much-awaited event. 


All big personalities of the country will gather in Lucknow tomorrow to witness the grand swearing-in ceremony. Prominent among the dignitaries who will attend the event include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. 


The grand swearing ceremony will also be attended by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu as well as chief ministers of Manipur, Himachal Pradesh, Tripura, Goa, Assam, Karnataka, Gujarat and other states.


Besides, prominent industrialists like N Chandrasekaran of Tata Group, Kumar Mangalam Birla of Aditya Birla Group, Anand Mahindra of Mahindra Group are also invited and expected to grace the event.


People outside the state are also thrilled about the event given the fact that under the leadership of CM Yogi and under double engine government, UP has witnessed remarkable growth in tourism, investment and employment as well as improvement in safety and security situation in the last five years. People today look upon UP as a state with immense untapped potential. 


The entire stadium and its 500 metres radius  has been decorated especially for the occasion adding to people’s excitement. The 200-metre pathway leading to the main entrance of the stadium is full of hoardings of PM Modi,  BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Furthermore, as many as 150 vertical gardens between Amausi airport and the stadium and 4,000 flowerpots around the stadium have also been arranged. PM Modi’s hoardings  on the left side of the main entrance are a major attraction for the people.

Many attractive hashtags on Modi and Yogi are also running on social media on the eve of the swearing-in ceremony such as, “Aa gaye Maharajji, Chha gaye Maharajji” (Yogiji comes back, prevails),  “BJP Government in UP again”, “Yogi is UPYOGI” (useful), “Jo Raam ko laye hain” and “Baba ka Bulldozer” adding to people’s enthusiasm.
