Over 23.75 L ‘Precaution doses’ administered to HCW, FLW & Seniors
UP inches close to crossing milestone of administering 30 cr total doses

Committed to providing protection cover to children in the age group of 15-18, the state of Uttar Pradesh has so far administered vaccine doses to over 2 crore teens in this age bracket.
Ensuring that every individual gets a 'protective shield' in the state, Uttar Pradesh started administering vaccine doses to the children in the age group of 12-14 from March 16. Over 1.80 lakh children have so far been vaccinated in this category.
Leading India’s vaccination drive with over 29,73,24,000 total doses administered, Uttar Pradesh is followed by Maharashtra with 15.96 crore doses administered so far. In terms of percentage, about 83 per cent of the adult population is fully vaccinated and over 100 percent have received one vaccine dose.
Strengthening its fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, the state of Uttar Pradesh has also administered over 23.75 lakh ‘precaution doses’ to healthcare, frontline workers and those above 60 years.
In pursuance of the directives issued by the CM, the process of screening and testing, despite the low positivity rate has been intensified in the state.
The establishment of Covid-19 Help Desks in all the offices, industrial units has been made mandatory. The Chief Minister has also instructed to maintain constant communication with the people under treatment in home isolation and to deliver medical kits to them as required.
