12 renowned personalities honoured

Lucknow, 15 July : Chief Advisor to the Chief Minister of UP, Shri Awanish Awasth, IAS, released the anthology of poems 'Kavitayen Kamyabi Ki' written by Pt. Hari Om Sharma 'Hari' today a grand Book Release function held at UP Press Club. Programme began with Ish Vandana, Saraswati Vandana and a beautiful Aarti of Mata-Pita. Author, Pt. Hari Om Sharma 'Hari' heartily welcomed the Chief Guest and other distinguished guests present on this occasion. The programme was presided over by renowned poetess Mrs Rama Arya ‘Rama.’ The occasion was made memorable by the presence of a large number of writers, poets, administrative officers, journalists, educationists and distinguished citizens of Lucknow as well as scholars of literature, educationists and journalists whose very presence added a sparkle to the show. Addressing the audience on this occasion, Shri Awanish Awasthi, IAS, said that the book 'Kavitayen Kamyabi Ki' gives wings to youth ful imagination and new ideas for their growth and progress. Each poem is an inspirational effort penned beautifully by the poet. Much thought and motivation has gone to compose each line of the poems. He called upon the youth to imbibe its thoughts as a successful mantra of life.

            The main attraction of the function was the special honour conferred upon those who had contributed invaluably to the development of society with shawls of honour and mementos by the Chief Guest Mr Awanish Awasthi, IAS. First to be honoured was the Founder of City Montessori School, renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi who was presented a shawl of honour and a memento followed by Shri Umesh Chandra Tiwari, IAS, Mrs Maya Devi Sharma, Dr Anshuman Pandey, Dr Sandeep Agarwal, Dr Sultan Shakir Hashmi, Shri Murlidhar Ahuja, Mr Rajendra Chaurasiya, Mr Sheel Agarwal and Shri Jwala Prasad Sharma. In his Welcome Address, Pt. Hari Om Sharma said that the presence of such inspiring personalities here has increased my confidence manifold. It is my good fortune that a noble personality like Mr Awanish Awasthi, IAS and all the noble personalities present on stage here are releasing the book which I have authored.

            Renowned educationist and CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that Pt Sharma is not only a writer of great calibre but also a visionary who has inspired hundreds and thousands of youth and children to lead a life of values and success. Renowned literary figure, Dr Sultan Shakir Hashmi said that this book reminds the youth of their responsibilities in life as it is closely related to social values so that they are not led astray in the glitter of modern life and stick to their values and traditions. Mr Umesh Chandra Tiwari, IAS, said that this present book of Pt Sharma as well as all his previous books have been a true inspiration to the youth. Mr Murlidhar Ahuja, Social Activist, said that the book instills new confidence in the youth and enlightens their path. Dr Sandeep Agarwal said that the book acquaints the students and youth with the glory of their culture and traditions and gives them a goal in life that leads straight to success. Dr Anshuman Pandey said that the book deserves to be praised for its thoughts and ideas. Presiding over the function, the renowned poetess Mrs Rama Arya ‘Rama’ said that though this book, Pandit Sharma has given the essence of his wide-ranging experience. The book is full of creative and positive ideas. At the end of the function, Pandit Hari Om Shrma ‘Hari’ expressed his gratitude towards all present.

            Convenor of the programme, Mr Praveen Shukla said that this was the 19th book written by Pt Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’ which has been released today. The author’s books have been highly commended not only in India but also abroad as in Nepal and Mauritius. In the literary journey of his life, Pt Sharma has been honoured by renowned personalities and Heads of State in India and abroad and received several honours and awards at national and global level.
