FIA-Chicago, one of the largest umbrella organizations serving the community for over 45 years, made history in Schaumburg with its first-ever Triranga Car Rally. This landmark event marked a proud milestone in FIA’s journey, embodying unity, patriotism, and community spirit.
Scores of participants proudly decorated their cars with the Indian Tricolor alongside the American flag, honoring both their motherland and karmbhumi. With chants of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', 'Vande Mataram, God Bless America, and Long live America' the atmosphere was electric—filled with devotion, pride, and celebration of heritage. The rally stood as a vibrant symbol of the diaspora’s deep-rooted connection to both nations; Bharat and America.
Following the grand rally, FIA-Chicago joined thousands at the Independence Day Parade hosted by National India Hub, further amplifying the collective celebration of India’s freedom.
