INSURRECTION OR VIOLENCE BY PROTESTING FARMERS
Never too late for the Supreme Court to take Suo Motto notice of the dastardly actions of the protesting farmers group to tear down the “National Flag” representing the “Nation” on the rampart of Red Fort and hoisting the “Sikh Kesari” insignia in its place.
Furthermore, the Supreme Court must direct the Delhi Police and Punjab/Haryana/UP/Madhya Pradesh DGPs to arrest all the so called “Farmers Leaders and their Spokespersons” to include Prof Yogendra Yadav, Rakes Tikiat, ex Army man Joginder Sigh Ugrahan of BKU (Ekta Ugraha) who is running a parallel government in Punjab, and all the 8 CPI/CPI-M leaders, 4 politically affiliated union leaders and other protesting groups leaders.
There was no need to apportion the blame on failure of intelligence. Even a fool would have predicted the such gory happenings to take place. Let me reproduce the extracts covering the groups:
“A brief look at the array of protesting groups exposes the fraud of their claims of being apolitical as claimed by Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Ugraha BKU (Ekta Ugraha) led by ex- Army man Joginder Singh Ugrahan in 2002, which is active in the Malwa region – rich farmers belt - of Punjab. Less known is the fact that BKU (Ekta Ugraha) runs a parallel government in Punjab.
Next, in the forefront of the protests is Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) founded by Charan Singh that became Punjab branch. The western UP branch was founded in 17 October 1986 by Mahendra Singh Tikait, which is affiliated to the All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee.
Most important, list of 8 Punjab politically affiliated protesting farmers' unions include: Kul Hind Kisan Federation (MCPI); Jamhuri Kisan Sabha (Revolutionary Marxist Party); All India Kisan Sabha (CPI-M); Kirti Kisan Union (CPI-ML); Punjab Kisan Union (CPI-ML); Kul Hind Kisan Sabha (CPI); Bharatiya Kisan Manch (Akali Dal); and Bharatiya Kisan Union Lakhowal (Akali Dal).
List of 4 politically affiliated protesting farmers' unions of Haryana and Madhya Pradesh include: Bharatiya Kisan Union Tikait; Bharatiya Kisan Union Chaduni (AAP); Bharatiya Kisan Union Mann (Congress); and Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Mahasangh. Add to them, Yogendra Yadav of Swaraj Party.
List of Punjab’s non politically affiliated protesting farmers' unions include: Krantikari Kisan Union; Bharatiya Kisan Sabha Dakaunda; Kisan Sangharsh Committee; Azad Kisan Sangharsh Committee; Jai Kisan Andolan; Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee; Kisan Sangharsh Committee; Bharatiya Kisan Union Krantikari; Bharatiya Kisan Union Sidhupur; Bharatiya Kisan Union Kadian; Bharatiya Kisan Union Rajewal; Bharatiya Kisan Union Doaba; Bharatiya Kisan Union Mansa; and others.”
Next, the Supreme Court must not give “Bail” to the arrested accused. A special fast track court must deliver verdicts earliest. Otherwise, even the Supreme Court will be vandalized preceeded by the Parliament.
Of course, none can deny “Protests” in democracy but in a peaceful manner. However, protests turn violent at the instigation of external actors like China, Pakistan and Khalistan forces. After all, their sole aim is to ensure disintegration of modern Indian exploiting the communal and caste fault-lines.
In contrast with the recent Trump-inspired insurrection by his followers on the “Capital”, the vandalism on the “Red Fort” is far more worse and disgraceful.
At the same time, kudos to the Delhi Police for the “restraint” demonstrated against grave assaults on them.
No more, Central Government must attempt to appease the “Protesting Groups”. It must act tough – curfew imposed in Delhi and the protesting sites on its borders; no talks with protesting groups; ordnance incorporating all the mutually agreed points in the talks held or table a “Bill incorporating Amendments” in the Parliament; arrest all leaders of protesting groups; seize all their bank accounts; F.I.Rs against all those who have committed violence and broke the rules agreed upon to hold the rally; and others actions considered appropriate.
The Central Government may like to revisit the “Bhindrenwale Protests in Delhi after he was released” and take cue from its lessons.
Capt Amarinder Singh, the Chief Minister, appears a “Lame Duck” leader having allowed ex-Army man Joginder Singh Ugrahan BKU (Ekta Ugraha) to run a parallel government in Punjab after 2002. No use to shed “Crocodile Tears” after having allowed the build-up on Delhi borders.
So also, Arvind Kejriwal (Self Styled Anarchist) and the AAP are also culpable of playing “double game” to allow chaos and anarchy in Delhi on 26 January 2021 which will go down as the worst “Black Day” in modern India.
The onus now rests on Modi-led NDA to use the “Power” bestowed by “We the People” to stem the rot of violent protests engulfing modern India.
