Emphasis on organizing various programs aimed at
eradicating TB in the state on the occasion of
World Tuberculosis Day on 24th March

            Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji has said that in view of the increasing demand for electricity in the summer season, the work of repairing electrical wires and transformers etc. should be ensured in time, so that people do not have any inconvenience. While giving instructions to solve various problems like overbilling of electricity consumers on priority, he also said that special camps should be organized for this purpose, as per requirements.

            The Chief Minister was on Thursday reviewing the works of various departments at a high-level meeting at Lok Bhawan. He also said that on 22nd March, 2021 - World Water Day, the 'Catch the Rain' campaign will be launched by the Prime Minister and urged officials to make people aware of water conservation through this program in the state. 

            He instructed the Ministry of Jal Shakti and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Departments to take action in this regard by preparing an action plan. It may be informed here that the 'Catch the Rain' campaign will be conducted by the National Water Mission, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India.

            The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has pledged to eradicate Tuberculosis from India by the year 2025 and underlined the role of Uttar Pradesh as very important in this work. Stressing on organizing various programs aimed at eradicating TB in the state on the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day on 24th March, he said that through these, more and more people should be made aware of the prevention of this disease.

            On this occasion, Medical Education Minister Mr. Suresh Khanna, Health Minister Mr. Jai Pratap Singh, Chief Secretary Mr. R.K. Tiwari, Additional Chief Secretary Home Mr. Awanish Kumar Awasthi, Director General of Police Mr. Hitesh C. Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary MSME & Information Mr. Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mr. Amit Mohan Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary Panchayati Raj & Rural Development Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister & Information Mr. Sanjay Prasad, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Alok Kumar and other senior officials were present.
