President worships goddess Vindhyavasini Maa in Meerjapur

 

Chief Minister apprises of in detail the President
of the 50-feet circumambulation path around the
temple and the proposed Vindhya Corridor

Lucknow : 14 March, 2021

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind Ji, during his visit to Meerjapur district on Sunday, offered obeisance to Maa Vindhyavasini Devi. On this occasion, his wife and first lady Mrs. Savita Kovind Ji was also present. 

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji presented a picture of Maa Vindhyavasini Devi and the idol of Lord Shri Ram to the President. After the darshan, the President and the Chief Minister also performed a havan. The Chief Minister apprised of the President detailed information about the 50-feet circumambulation path around the Maa Vindhyavasini Devi Temple and the development work of the proposed Vindhya Corridor. 

Earlier, the President also visited the Ashtabhuja Inspection House. On this occasion, Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Tourism (Independent Charge) Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, Minister of State for Energy Shri Rama Shankar Singh Patel, MP Mrs. Anupriya Patel and other people's representatives and senior officials of the administration were present.
