            Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji on Wednesday, inaugurated 18 Residential / Non-Residential Buildings of the revenue department built at a cost of Rs. 118 crores in 13 districts through video-conferencing at his official residence held at his official residence in the state capital.

            On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that offices will be set up in non-residential buildings constructed in different districts so that the work of the public will be easily done. In these buildings, offices of different departments will be available at the same place, so that the public can get their work done without any hassles. The Chief Minister also sought the use of technology for the smooth functioning of the offices to be set up in non-residential buildings. 

            People's problems can be resolved quickly using technology, he said and asked all departments to complete all the work tasked to them in a time-bound manner according to the intention of the government. The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to speedy and effective resolution of people's problems. 


Residential buildings will be allotted to government officials and employees, he informed and pointed out how this will solve the residential problem of these people on the one hand, on the other hand not much time of these officers and employees will be lost in traffic and in commuting. With this, these officers/employees, he added, will be able to solve people's problems effectively by giving more time in the office.

            The Chief Minister said that these buildings have been constructed with full quality and within stipulated timelines by the Revenue Department. Most of the cases in rural areas are related to revenue, inheritance, etc, he said and added that the availability of offices will now speed up the disposal of these cases. Through the offices set up in these buildings, now the ownership plan implemented by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji will be expedited, he stated further. 

            The CM also instructed officials to review the condition of old government buildings present in different districts. He said that in future residential / non-residential buildings should be constructed in close vicinity and offices of most of the departments should be housed in non-residential buildings, so that people do not have any inconvenience in getting their work done.

            Chief Minister inaugurated the  residential buildings constructed under the control of the Revenue Board, Tehsil Jamunha district Shravasti, Tehsil Khatauli district Muzaffarnagar, Tehsil Narwal district Kanpur Nagar, Tehsil Bangarmau district Unnao, Tehsil Gauriganj district Amethi and Tehsil Ajitmal district Auraiyya. Construction of these residential buildings built in 6 districts cost about Rs 33.51 crore.


Similarly, non residential buildings have been set up at Tehsil Jalalabad district Shahjahanpur, Tehsil Sadar district Hamirpur, Tehsil Jamunha district Shravasti, Tehsil Pali district Lalitpur, Divisional Commissioner Chitrakoot Dham Mandal Banda's Office, Tehsil Pailani district Banda, Tehsil Naraini district Banda, Tehsil Bangarmau district Unnao, Tehsil Hasanganj district Unnao, Tehsil Payagpur district Bahraich, Tehsil Khalilabad district Sandkabirnagar and Tehsil Lambhua district, Sultanpur. The construction of 12 non-residential buildings built in these districts has cost about Rs. 84 crore 47 lakh.

            Finance Minister Shri Suresh Kumar Khanna and Minister of State for Revenue and Flood Control Shri Vijay Kumar Kashyap also addressed the programme. Chairman Revenue Board Dr. Deepak Trivedi welcomed the guests. Chief Secretary Shri RK Tiwari, Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Mrs. Renuka Kumar, Principal Secretary Chief Minister and Information Shri Sanjay Prasad and other senior officers were present during the programme.
