He said that in order to provide all facilities under one roof to the people interested in the ODOP scheme, the Yogi government has a plan to open one or more CFCs in every district as per its ODOP product. These centers will have facilities for training, general or air-conditioned storage, processing, grading, packaging and barcoding machines, etc. as per requirement for raw and finished goods storage.
Stating that UP is famous for its extremely rich tradition of exquisite handicrafts, Sehgal said, “A unique product of every district is its identity. It is the intention of CM Yogi that with the help of technology, these products should be made competitive in quality and price so that people of every section can get its benefits.”
This will help in providing employment to the people at the local level and there will be overall development of the state. With this intention, with the establishment of CFCs, training for branding, marketing, credit, finance and skill development of the people concerned is also being done.
