Seminar on filing of
SFT by Income Tax Department
The Directorate of
Income Tax (I&CI), organized a Seminar under the Chairmanship of Shri
Neeraj Kumar, Hon'ble Director of Income Tax, Intelligence and Criminal
Investigation, Lucknow at 'PRAGYA
Bhawan', DTRTI Building, Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. Established Chartered
Accountants and Doctors of the city participated in this seminar. The Director
of Income Tax urged all the representatives to file error free SFTs within the
time limit. The Director of Income Tax encouraged to file SFT-13 on receipt of
lump sum amount of two lakhs or more in cash involved in any Financial
Transaction.
Director of Income Tax,
Intelligence and Criminal Investigation, Lucknow Mr. Neeraj Kumar advised the
participants to ensure quoting of PAN, as per the extant provisions, in all the
financial transactions. Mr. Neeraj Kumar
also told that the SFT can only be filed online on the website of https://report.insight.gov.in. The last date for filing is 31st May of the
year.

Joint Director of Income Tax (I&CI), Lucknow Shri Shiva Shankar Yadav,
Deputy Director of Income Tax (I&CI), Lucknow Shri Ravi Shekhar Choudhary,
Income Tax Officer (Headquarter), Lucknow attended the seminar. Income Tax
officers and employees of Lucknow were also present. Shri Gaurav Prakash,
Income Tax Officer (I & CI Gorakhpur) conducted the seminar.
