Stop Senate Resolution 424

 

Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) from Wisconsin has introduced a very nasty, anti-India resolution: S.Res. 424. She introduced it late last month, and it was immediately referred to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. We have an opportunity to kill it in Committee so that it never comes to the Senate floor. She is talking about the persecution of minorities in India. It is the biggest lie. The situation is exactly the opposite. We have more than 1,000 Links/proofs to prove the persecution of Hindus by Muslims. India is one of the best and safest countries for minorities.

Baldwin and her staff are trying to get co-sponsors. So far there are none, but I know some are considering it, which is why what we do now is important. It's also important to make sure members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hear from us. 

I emphasize that her information is incorrect and from politically motivated bodies; that I have first-hand information to the contrary and that numerous authoritative studies by Pew Research Center and others have found the opposite of what the resolution falsely alleges.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

(1) It's most important if Senators hear from people in their own states, and people should call their own Senators urging them to oppose Senate Resolution 424, introduced by Senator Tammy Baldwin and referred to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. If we have any contacts on Foreign Relations, we should call them regardless of whether we live in their state or not.
