IRDA imposed penalty to Max Life Insurance Co. Ltd.

Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) has imposed fine of Rs. 55 Lacs, yesterday for certain violations of regulation. Authority also instructed to Insurer to deposit this amount within 15 days from the order by demand draft and this amount should be debited from share holder’s accounts only.
