refers to procedures that do not require a hospital stay.
Apollo Munich and Max Bupa offer cashless OPD facilities. However, there are limits to how much of the
expense will be covered under OPD in a year. Max Bupa’s Go Active family floater plan offers 10
cashless or reimbursable consultations with a cap of Rs. 500-600 per consultation. Before opting for
one, compare the policies with and without OPD covers in premium terms to see if they are actually
cost-effective.
