Chief Minister gives instructions to be extra vigilant in view of Covid-19

steps to prevent congestion in public places

            Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji has instructed to maintain extra vigilance in view of Covid-19. He said that extra care should be taken in view of the festivals including Holi, Panchayat elections and the increase of Corona infection in different states of the country. He has also given instructions to maintain an effective system of prevention and treatment from Covid-19.

The Chief Minister was on Friday reviewing the unlock system at a high-level meeting convened at his government residence in the state capital. He said that all necessary facilities should be ensured in Covid hospitals and that in these hospitals, an adequate number of medical personnel, medicines, medical equipment and proper supply of oxygen including backup should be available in every situation.

He further stated that the system of Covid Help Desk should be managed smoothly. Symptomatic individuals should be identified using infrared thermometers and pulse oximeters and intensive Covid check of passengers should be done at the bus station, railway station and airports, the chief minister underlined. If found infected, arrangements should be made for such individuals by arranging quarantine for them, he said further.

The Chief Minister said that more than 1.50 lakh people should be tested daily for COVID. He also instructed concerned authorities to conduct contact tracing to the optimum and said that such people should be investigated by identifying more and more of the Corona positive person's contacts.

The Chief Minister said that information about people coming from outside should be collected through monitoring committees in rural and urban areas. By quarantining such people found infected, will help in the proper arrangement of their treatment. The Chief Minister directed that Integrated Command and Control Center should be kept fully functional at the district level. He said that all the District Magistrates and Chief Medical Officers should meet every morning in the Covid Hospital and in the evening in the Integrated Command and Control Center to review the Covid situation.

The Chief Minister said that people should be constantly made aware of ways of prevention from Corona virus. For this, he added, various publicity systems, as well as public address systems, should be widely used. People should be informed about the mandatory use of masks and adhering to social distancing. He also instructed the police to take the necessary steps to ensure that the crowd does not gather in public places.

Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Mrs. Renuka Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary MSME, and Information Mr. Navneet Sehgal, Principal Secretary Medical Education Mr. Alok Kumar, Secretary Chief Minister Mr. Alok Kumar, Information Director Mr. Shishir and other senior officers were present.
