The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA-Chicago), in collaboration with Chicago Hindu Mahotsav Group NFP, hosted a vibrant community picnic on a hot and humid summer day.

Over 150 attendees came together to enjoy a full day of delicious food, games, karaoke, dance performances, and energetic Garba—offering fun and connection for all age groups.

Several community leaders graced the occasion, including Mafatbhai Patel of the Patel Brothers grocery chain. Past President and Trustees Bhailalbhai Patel, Kantibhai S Patel, Kantibhai N Patel, Rakesh Malhotra, Dr Rashmi Patel, Raj Patel and from Harisumiran Mandir, P. Guruprasad Swamiji, P. Harisanmukh Swamiji, and Himanshubhai Sheth visited to bless the gathering and extended a warm invitation to their upcoming community program on August 10 evening.

VHPA President Vineshbhai Virani shared details about the upcoming “Support a Child” initiative taking place on August 9 at Manav Seva Mandir.

Abhinav Raina invited attendees to the premiere of the much-anticipated film, “The Bengal Files.”

Talented young artists Shikha and Tirth performed soulful Garbas, while the Saraswati Singers Group led a lively karaoke session, adding devotional flair and entertainment to the day.

The event was a perfect blend of culture, community, and celebration.
