Appeals to all to follow Covid protocol at
all events organized on the occasion of Holi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Holi. In his congratulatory message, the Chief Minister said that Holi is the main festival of the Sanatan tradition of India. 

This festival symbolizes social equality, harmony and joy, he said and wished that it should be auspicious for the whole society and the people of the state. Our tradition, he pointed out, accorded religious recognition to important events of change in society and nation as festivals and provided the basis of inspiration and light for the next generation.

The Chief Minister said that the festival of Holi inspires us to fight negative trends like falsehood and injustice. We all have to maintain the sanctity and dignity of our festival, the chief minister said and added that from this point of view, there should be no such act, which disrupts the dignity of the festival.

The CM while wishing the people of the state for the celebration of Holi, a festival of harmony and joy, said that this festival should be celebrated in a cordial and dignified manner. The Chief Minister has also appealed to follow the protocol of Covid-19 in all the events organized on the occasion of Holi.
