UP Govt educating people about cleanliness and sanitation drive

The Uttar Pradesh Government has put all the efforts to tackle health challenges caused due to water-borne diseases and other seasonal vagaries. Emphasizing prevention before treatment, people are being made aware of the importance of cleanliness, sanitation, and importance of nutritional food.
CM Yogi has asked the officials to ensure regular sanitation and fogging drives to protect the state from vector-borne diseases such as Dengue, Malaria, Chikungunya and others.
Scaling up preventive measures against water-borne and vector-borne diseases arising out of seasonal vagaries, the state government has also directed the health workers to pay door-to-door visits to identify patients with viral fever, vector-borne diseases and other symptoms.
The CM instructed officials to make sure that patients should receive the best treatment. They have also been asked to follow all necessary steps to prevent waterlogging and water-borne diseases that are increasing due to the wrath of the weather.
The public is also advised to take all the necessary precautions to check the breeding of mosquitoes in and around their houses. Apart from this, in pursuance of the CM’s orders, the availability of pure drinking water is also being ensured in the affected areas.
ASHA Workers Paying Door-To-Door Visit
ASHA and Anganwadi Workers have also been paying door-to-door visits to detect ailing patients. Arrangements have also been made for additional beds, doctors, paramedical staff, medicines, and other equipment in the hospitals.
According to the Health officials, the government’s special cleanliness campaign to curb the spread of communicable diseases and vector-borne diseases in the state has played a major role in bringing down the transmission levels.
